So fun being sick!

We have one sick house today. I am happy that it is not me, but when two thirds of the family is sick, it is no fun being the other third. Amanda woke up this morning and didn't feel good but went to work anyway. She is such a trooper. She then wisely came home early.

I was supposed to work this afternoon but she just didn't have the energy to take care of Livy so I called in sick for a half day, and now I am at work doing all the little end of day garbage I have to do. It was such a joy staying home though.

I must say I have changed so many poopy diapers today that everything kind of smells like diarrhea to me right now. If you have never experienced this phenomenon, I do not recommend it. Hopefully everyone will be feeling better tomorrow.

A Day at the park

So this past week we went to the park and had a good time together. Dave and I have a nice trail that runs in our neighborhood and takes you to this fun park. Olivia can finally sit by herself so we were able to put her in the swing and help her down the slide. She mostly just had a confused look on her face the whole time but she didn't care she loves being outside and with mommy and daddy. I hope you enjoy the pictures. The last picture I have I put in because livy fits in this really cute outfit Grandma Great Grover got her and I had to show it off. We love being together as a family since we don't get those days very often. I cherish those days.

Isn't this one hilarious, there facial expressions are alike like father like daughter!

I'M A BIG GIRL NOW!

So Olivia hit a milestone this week. She finally sits by herself. It is so fun to see her grow up and getting so big. She also holds her own bottle which is heaven because I can actually do other stuff while she feeds herself. We have been having so much fun with her getting her own personality. She loves being outside. Livy and I usually always go on a walk in her stroller and she just stares at everything and talks the whole time. It is a fun age right now. Dave and I are the same nothing really new just enjoying being parents.
