Last night we put Livy to bed and decided we would just let her cry for a little while so she would wear herself out. It was hard on mommy so she had to use the pacifier herself. I am happy to report that she made it through just fine and so did the baby.

That is seriously one of the hardest things to do- Joe had to finally did it (after I almost went nuts due to lack of sleep) and I made him sleep in her room to make sure she was ok! He hid behind a chair so she wouldn't see him! ha ha ha
A little binky sucking is needed sometime. Especially when you are trying to let your child cry it out. It does get easier. I promise. In fact by the time we had Alessia we didn't have a problem listening to crying. Curtis had cried all the emotion out of us.
So just to clarify Amanda wasn't really having a hard time, she just stuck the binky in her mouth and I thought it was funny. My wife is doing just great, with no worries.
